SCIENTIFIC EXPERIENCE:

-2005 / 2008: PhD programm, research in the IRD / CVVD laboratory at the Mahidol University Faculty of Science (Center for Vector and Vector-borne Diseases) and in the biologic emergency response unit of the Pasteur Institute Paris (CIBU). The project treats with the implication of domestic and wild mammals (Chiroptera and Carnivorus orders) in the emergence and evolution of human pathogens in Thailand, focusing on viruses carried by bats in South-East Asia such as Coronavirus (SARS-CoV), Flavivirus, Lyssavirus and Hendra/Nipahvirus.

-2004: Master2 (DEA : Systematic and Phylogeny, Paris MNHN) research activities hosted by the UMR BIPAR (Molecular Biology and Immunology of Parasites and fungi) of the Alfort National Veterinary School (Ecole Nationale Vétérinaire d’Alfort). Subject: Phylogeny and Co-evolution between Carnivores and an opportunistic fungi parasite of Mammals: Pneumocystis. In the laboratory of Pr. J. Guillot, ENVA.

-2003: Settlements study in the Mount St Michel Bay, dynamic of populations of Orchestia spp. (Crustacea : Amphipoda), contribution to the organic matter degradation and biology, supervised by Mr. F. GENTIL (Roscoff Oceanologic Observatory) and of the professor A. CANARD in the UMR 6553 ECOBIO "Ecosystems, Biodiversity and Evolution " of RENNES 1 University.

-2003: Study of physiological processes induced by adaptation of Elytrigia eatherica, at the saline’s conditions of the salt meadow. UMR 6553 ECOBIO

-2003: Fish settlement study of a Polder reconnected with the sea in UMR 6553 ECOBIO Rennes 1.

-2003: Adaptation of the coleoptera Alphytobius diaperinus at low temperatures, UMR 6553 ECOBIO, Rennes 1.

-2002: Member of a team in charge of a tourist frequentation study on Port-cros and Porquerolles. Study ordered by the national park of Port-cros, managed by Mr. L. Brigand, geography professor to the Brest West Brittany University, GŽomer Unit, UMR 6554 (UBO) / Marine European Academic Institute (IUEM), in order to legislate circulation in these islands.

-2002: Cormorants diet and impact of these birds on fish populations, by rejected balls examination and otoliths study, in the UMR 6553 ECOBIO in RENNES 1 University.

FORMATION:

-2005: Biology thesis, PhD. Doctoral school: Diversity of Life, Paris National Museum of Natural History; Dpt Sytematic and Evolution, UMR MNHN/CNRS 5202, OSEB (Origin Structure and Evolution of Biodiversity).

-2004: Phylogeny and Systematic Postgradutate certificate (prior to doctoral studies -DEA) within the Paris National Museum of Natural History – (MusŽum National d’Histoire Naturelle de PARIS -MNHN).

-2003: Master’s degree (Ma”trise) on Ecosystems and Populations Biology in University Rennes 1 (particularly: statistics, ecosystems functioning and communities interaction, parasitology, modelling, adaptations to environmental conditions, eco-ethology.

-2002: Biology Degree: Licence of Organisms and Populations Biology at the University of RENNES 1 (Biochemistry, structure and function of the biological molecules, genetic, cellular biology; Specializations: animals’ organization and phylogeny, zoology, animal functions, evolution and adaptation, biological bases of behaviours regulation and relations between organisms.).

-2002: Marine biology formation within the CEMPAMA; rocky and silt-sandy mediums fauna study, in the intertidal zone. (Zoology, systematic, ecology.)

-2001: University Diploma (2 years) : Deug; Life Sciences, Biology; within LORIENT Southern Brittany University.

-2001: Marine biology training course in Ba•lleron Marine Biology Station in Morbihan gulf (Brittany, France). (Benthic and pelagic fauna study, plankton study and abiotic factors impact into the gulf.)
